Prof. Kalun Tse
|
|
Kalun is a Professor of Finance at Nyenrode University and at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai, with many years of experience working with corporate clients in Europe and Asia. Professor Tse obtained his Master's degree (MSc) in Management Science and his Doctorate (PhD) in Financial Economics from Imperial College, University of London, England. After graduation, Kalun worked in the City of London for a number of years before returning to academia. He currently holds a joint appointment at Universiteit Nyenrode and at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai, China. He has been a visiting fellow/guest professor at various universities and institutions. He is currently guest professor at the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School, Belgium and at INSEAD - CEDEP, Fontainbleau in France. In addition to his academic activities, Kalun is also a Fellow (FCA) at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, in the UK. He serves as an advisor to various government organizations and international agencies and conducts consultancy assignments for financial institutions and companies in Europe and the Far East and China. Kalun's research interests include pricing of risk, real operating options and financial sector reform in transitional economies. His research work has been supported by the European Union, the World Bank and the European Foundation for Management Development. The results of his work have been published in international academic journals such as the European Journal of Management, European Finance Journal, Pacific Basin Finance Journal. |
