Finance-Oriented Management Training
Cambridge Pragmatix is in partnership with the world-class simulations provider Business Today. We are the exclusive China partner of Business Today simulations, and together we are able to bring you the fun and effective learning experience that only a hands-on business simulation can deliver.
Managing Business Today (MBT) is a board-based simulation which enables all levels of management to improve their contribution to the financial performance of the business as well as achieve individual goals. The program helps managers to understand the many inter-relationships that exist within a business and to identify and evaluate the trade-offs involved.
The MBT simulation usually consists of 6 sessions run over 3 days. The simulation involves teams of participants who manage their own company, and compete with other teams for market share and profitability.
Following a realistic business process, participants make all the decisions involved in their operations, such as investing in market research, developing new markets, recruiting staff, investing in capital expenditure, purchasing raw materials, product development, tendering for sales and various funding decisions. Teams run a number of business cycles, and after each cycle they have to draft and analyse the financial records of their business.
Simulations can be run as a stand-alone event, or as part of a leadership development program.
